Most people know me as a resourceful go-to person that loves to help others.  I think I have always been that way.  One of my first jobs was at a card and gift shop and my co-workers (and periodically even the owner) would call me at home asking for help on where to find things in the store. Or a customer would come and ask a question, and my co-workers would say, “let me check with Julie.”  Usually I was able to help them.  When I worked in the corporate world it was more of the same. People would always come to me for the answer --- it wasn’t that I always knew all the answers. But I usually knew where to get the answer, or the best route to take to find out, or knew the right person to talk to in order to find the answer.

Now with my own businesses I have been networking and connecting with so many people that I have friends and family members who contact me FIRST instead of going to the yellow pages or where ever else… to find someone that they can trust that will help them solve their problem.  I’m always thrilled when I can connect people to help each other.

All the people on our Julie Recommends pages are all people that I do or have done business with in one way or another, and most of them I now have great friendships with as well. All of them are all people I know and trust (or they wouldn’t be on my website!) and I feel quite confident telling other people about them.  Most of them are located in the Twin Cities area (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota).  For some services it matters and for others it doesn’t.
